Will Crump is a successful technology entrepreneur and investor who has led two companies into leadership positions in the Gartner Magic Quadrant and Forrester Wave. With twenty years of domain leadership in data management business models, Will has extensive leadership experience in corporate strategy, fund raising, product management, sales, marketing, and operations.

A well-rounded a hyper-growth specialist, Will demonstrated his impact as head of sales for BackOffice Associates (now Syniti) though five consecutive years of triple digit growth before selling the company to Goldman Sachs. Recognizing an untapped market potential for a data management SaaS solution, Will was the founder and CEO of DATUM LLC which became known as both a market maker and market leader in the metadata management and data governance markets before selling to Infogix Inc. After the sale of DATUM LLC, Will continued as a senior strategy executive helping position Infogix for sale to data management leader Precisely before transitioning to investor and advisor roles in healthcare IT and data management.

Will is a natural leader and an accomplished competitor. He was a college lacrosse athlete with multiple NCAA tournament appearances and spent five years between undergraduate and graduate school yacht racing as a professional around the world. With a passion for team building, Will spends his spare time continuing to compete in yachting at the world championship level, backcountry skiing and coaching lacrosse at the U14 level.

Appreciative of the lessons learned through sport, Will is also dedicated to the cause of providing access to the water for people with mobility challenges such as recovering warriors, which he fulfills through service on the board for Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating (CRAB).

Will has a Bachelor of Arts in History from Hampden-Sydney College and an MBA from the Copenhagen Business School.
